Cancellation and refund policy
This policy explains when InviteNest refunds a payment and how. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
Last updated 5 October 2026
The short version
- You can design and preview for free. You only pay when you publish, so you know exactly what you're buying.
- Once paid and published, an invitation can't be cancelled for a refund.
- If it stops working because of a fault on our side that we can't fix, or we close the service early, you get back the unused part.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded in full.
- Refunds go back through Razorpay to the way you paid, within 5 to 7 working days.
Try before you pay
You can open every template with your own names and build your whole invitation for free. You only pay when you publish it, so please check everything before you do.
Cancellation
Your invitation goes live the moment you pay and publish, so the service is delivered straight away. For that reason a paid invitation can't be cancelled for a refund, including if your plans change.
You can still end a live invitation yourself at any time from your dashboard. Ending it early doesn't lead to a refund.
When you get a full refund
- You were charged twice for the same invitation, or charged by mistake.
- Money left your account but the payment failed and your invitation wasn't published. (Razorpay usually returns these automatically; if not, write to us.)
- Your invitation never worked because of a fault on our side that we couldn't fix within 48 hours of you telling us.
When you get a partial refund
If your invitation stops working partway through its live period because of a fault on our side that we can't fix within 48 hours, or if we close the service early, we refund the unused part of the price.
For example, if your invitation was live for 60 days and had 20 of them left, you'd get back a third of what you paid.
When we can't refund
- A change of mind or of plans after you've paid and published.
- Mistakes in the details you entered. You can correct them yourself in the editor at any time; if a name or the main date is wrong, contact us.
- When the invitation has ended, whether its live period ran out or you ended it yourself.
- When an invitation was removed because it broke our terms of service.
How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] with the email address you paid with, your invitation's link and what went wrong. We'll reply within 7 days.
Approved refunds are made through Razorpay to your original payment method (card, UPI, net banking or wallet). They usually reach you within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
Delivery
Nothing is shipped. Your invitation is a digital service, delivered online: it goes live at your chosen link as soon as your payment succeeds, and we email you a receipt and the link straight away.
