Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and InviteNest, a product of BluFins Tech Solutions. By creating an account or paying for an invitation, you agree to them.
Last updated 5 October 2026
The short version
- You're paying for a service for a fixed period, not buying a website or a link.
- Your invitation stays live until 15 days after the last function on it, but no longer than 180 days from the day you first publish it.
- Your link is yours to use while the invitation is live. It is never owned, and it's released 30 days after the invitation ends.
- You own your photos and words. You're responsible for having the right to use them, including any music you upload.
- If something goes wrong on our side, the most we owe you is what you paid.
What you're buying
InviteNest lets you design a digital invitation from one of our templates, publish it at a web address of your choice, and share it with your guests. The price shown for your design when you publish pays for that service for a limited time.
Paying for an invitation gives you the right to use the service as described here. It does not transfer ownership of the website, the template, the software or the web address to you.
How long your invitation stays live
Your invitation is live from the moment you first publish it until 15 days after the last function shown on it (the main ceremony or any later function, such as a reception), but never more than 180 days after publishing, and never less than 15 days. The end date is fixed when you publish and is shown before you pay, in your dashboard, on your receipt and in the reminder emails we send before it ends.
You can end it earlier yourself from your dashboard. Until its end date you can bring it back online, on the same link, from the same page. Ending it early doesn't extend the end date and isn't refunded.
Your invitation link
You choose your link (for example /i/priya-weds-arjun) when you publish. It stays fixed and reserved for you while the invitation is live.
The link is licensed to you for the live period only. You can't claim it permanently, transfer it or sell it.
When the invitation ends, the link shows a short "This invitation has ended" page for 30 days, and nobody else can take it. After those 30 days the link is released, and another customer may choose it.
What happens when your invitation ends
Whether your invitation reaches the end of its live period or you end it early:
- For 30 days, guests who open the link see that the invitation has ended, and you can still download your RSVP list from your dashboard.
- After 30 days, we permanently delete your photos, music, invitation text and your guests' RSVP details. We keep a short record that the invitation existed (its link, template, dates and total view and reply counts), which you'll see greyed out in your dashboard.
- Payment records and receipts are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.
Download anything you want to keep before the 30 days are up. Deleted content can't be recovered.
Changes after publishing
You can change your invitation as often as you like, both before and after publishing, until it ends. Changes show to guests as soon as they're saved.
Once published, three things are fixed: the couple's names, the date of the main ceremony and the link. They identify the event you paid for, so an invitation can't be reused for a different wedding. If one of them is wrong because of a mistake, contact us and we'll help.
The design can be switched freely before publishing and is fixed after.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add: names, text, photos and any music you upload. You give us permission to store it, resize it and show it to anyone who opens your invitation, for as long as the invitation is live and the 30 days after.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including photos taken by a photographer and any music track. Don't upload film songs or other music you don't have the rights to.
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or end an invitation that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.
Your guests
Anyone with your link can open your invitation, so only share it with people you'd like to invite. When guests reply, we collect their answers for you. How we handle their details is set out in our privacy policy.
Our templates and music
Our templates, artwork, animations and music belong to us or to the people we license them from. You may use them only as part of your invitation on our service. Don't copy, download or reuse them elsewhere.
Payment and refunds
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include any applicable taxes. You pay once, when you publish. There's no subscription.
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Refunds are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.
Keeping the service running
We work hard to keep invitations online and fast, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or an outage at one of our providers.
We may improve or change features over time. If we ever have to close the service before your invitation's live period ends, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of what you paid.
Our responsibility to you
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to an invitation is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not responsible for indirect losses, for example if a guest misses a function because of details entered incorrectly.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under India's consumer protection law.
Your account
Keep your login details private; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You must be 18 or older to create one. You can close your account at any time by writing to us.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and tell you by email before any change that affects you takes effect. Invitations you've already paid for keep the live period you were promised.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
